We get snow!

We had the biggest snow storm of the year dump about 11 inches of snow on us between last night and this morning. The first wave started flurrying around 8 p.m. When I woke this morning 6 a.m. there was about 8 inches of snow out there. By 6:30 I was out shoveling and about 75 minutes later had the front walk, the driveway, the front and back porch and a portion of the back patio shoveled. There was a message on my phone saying the library was closed for the day. It started to snow again and we had an additional 3 to 4 inches by the time that finished around Noon. After a little bit I went back outside to clean up some of the new snow and helped a couple of neighbors out with their shoveling, then it was back inside for a big breakfast. I went out twice more and warmed up the car.

It's supposed to get cold out here tonight but the snow is over for a while. Maybe till the end of the year? I mean, Spring is only 3 weeks away, right?
